I am happy about the list of albums as most of the ones that I nominated are in it! My all time favourite is Deitrick Haddon - Crossroads, so I will be upset if it is not in the top 3 minimum!!!

Good choice of albums for 2000 but omitted were albums by Noel Gourdin ( After My Time ) and John Forte ( i, John ) two underrated albums who's fine music is underappreciated mainly because they weren't played very much on the radio station.
For Gospel Albums, shame on y'all for not includng Lorraine Ellison - Lorraine Ellison
Della Reece and Brilliance - Della Reece and Brilliance
Ethel Waters - Just A Little Talk With Ethel
three of the finest gospel albums I've ever had the pleasure of listening to and owning.

When I think of the greatest gospel projects of all time, Milton Brunson and the Thompson Community Singers comes to mind along with Kurt Carr and The Kurt Carr singers (the CD with For Every Mountain). These are projects where every track is true ministry. I think I may be a bit older than some of the people who suggested some of the projects listed. The only contemporary artits whose music will be ministry 20 years from now are Donald Lawrence, Yolanda Adams and Richard Smallwood!!!

Wow! I cannot believe Rev James Cleveand is not on this list. Did I miss him?
The Rev. IS the King of REAL Gospel. While I like some of the new gosel music there are real pioneers of this music form that actually recorded their music in CHURCH. What a concept
